Halogen TV
Halogen TV was an American digital cable and satellite television channel that aired feature-length films, documentaries, short films, and original reality programs that centered on making positive social changes and making the world a better place. Halogen was available in both standard-definition and high-definition. The channel launched in HD on June 21, 2010.〔(Halogen Goes High Def ) ''Multichannel News'' June 21, 2010〕 AT&T Uverse added the channel in HD on August 2, 2010.〔(Halogen Launches on AT&T U-verse TV ) ''Multichannel News'' August 2, 2010〕 Halogen had also launched a Video on Demand platform in over 7 million homes on January 1, 2010. This service was acquired by Participant Media in 2012 and continued with Pivot TV.
